Coalition Building

The Liberty Square Group provides grassroots and grasstops organizing, and coalition building to a wide range of clients.  Campaigns rely on a strong coalition of support to carry the message to the public and show a high level of strength.  The Liberty Square Group has had marked success in its grasstops and grassroots campaigns.  By taking the appropriate approach for each campaign, we are able to maximize the exposure of our clients’ issue and gain the momentum needed for success. 

Our grasstops organizing utilizes a specific strategy to gain momentum for an issue, focusing on influential individuals who have the ability to affect change, and shed light on a particular issue.  The Liberty Square Group utilizes its network of relationships and contacts to build top-level support for an issue. Those supporters then weigh-in with identified political targets through letters, phone calls, meetings, letters to the editor, or op-eds. This top-level support comes from leaders in the field who have the greatest impact on the particular target. By contrast, our grassroots efforts are built around coordinating outreach to a large group of concerned citizens to build a massive amount of support needed for success.
