Mary Liz Ganley, Senior Vice President of the Liberty Square Group, provides strategic fundraising and event planning to a variety of clients. Ms. Ganley brings nine years of fundraising experience working with elected officials, businesses, and non-profits with the objective of assisting in the identification and acquisition of overall fundraising goals.
Since joining the Liberty Square Group in August 2006, Ms. Ganley has provided strategic fundraising advice to a variety of political clients. As Finance Director at Boston 2004, Inc., she helped raise over $64 million dollars for the Host Committee responsible for organizing the Democratic National Convention. Ms. Ganley's responsibilities included working with the corporate and non-profit communities to raise funds that helped make the Democratic National Convention showcase the City of Boston and accomplish one of the most successful and profitable political conventions in history.
Ms. Ganley has successfully raised money for Senator Edward M. Kennedy's re-election campaigns in the past two election cycles. In 2006, Ms. Ganley worked as Senator Kennedy's Massachusetts Finance Director out of the Boston campaign office. Her responsibilities included working throughout New England to develop fundraising strategy, oversight of all Massachusetts fundraising event and the organization, and cultivation of new communities and organizations that wanted to support the Senator's 2006 re-election campaign.
As Deputy Finance Director in 2000, Ms. Ganley worked out of Senator Kennedy's Washington, DC campaign office where she developed and coordinated the fundraising strategy for the Massachusetts campaign fundraising effort and helped supplement Senator Kennedy's fundraising efforts around the country. Her responsibilities included working with national and local Massachusetts donors to set up events and fundraisers nationwide and helped raise $5 million for Senator Kennedy's re-election campaign.
Ms. Ganley is a graduate of BostonCollege in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.
