Arthur Dimond
Arthur Dimond, Principal of Dimond Communications Consulting, is an associate of the Liberty Square Group, providing public relations counsel and services to a variety of clients. Mr. Dimond, who began his career as a journalist, has over 30 years of public relations experience that includes strategic planning, program development and management, corporate communications, marketing communications, internal communications, public affairs, crisis management, editorial development and media relations, investor relations, extensive writing in most forms, and general public relations counsel.
Mr. Dimond has developed and implemented successful public relations programs for scores of companies in an array of industries ranging from energy to high tech to medical devices, as well as professional and financial services firms, and trade, professional, labor, arts, and non-profit organizations in New England and Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career he served as Assistant Press Secretary to U. S. Senator Jacob K. Javits (R-NY) and subsequently in communications management positions – at the American Public Power Association and the Northeast Solar Energy Center – that involved critical energy industry issues (such as nuclear power in the wake of Three Mile Island) and pioneering renewable-energy developments.
In addition to his proven “front lines” communications track record, Mr. Dimond has also demonstrated strong leadership skills as a senior executive at several public relations agencies (including Weber Shandwick Worldwide, Hill and Knowlton, and Clarke & Company), as well as the founder and president of his own firm, Dimond Communications Group, Inc. a specialist in building market presence and support for young, entrepreneurial companies and financial/professional services firms and organizations.
